1. Overview
MediXprt ("MediXprt", "we", "us", or "our") operates a marketplace mobile application connecting dealers, distributors, and buyers of medical equipment. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the MediXprt app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using MediXprt, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: name, business/company name, email address, phone number, and business address when you register as a buyer or a verified dealer.
- Verification information: business registration or licensing details submitted by dealers to be verified as sellers on the marketplace.
- Listing and transaction data: product listings, quote requests, order history, and communications between buyers and sellers made through the app.
- Payment information: processed by our third-party payment and in-app purchase providers (see Section 4). MediXprt does not store full card or bank account numbers on its own servers.
- Device and usage information: device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and general usage analytics (e.g. screens viewed, features used) to help us maintain and improve the app.
- Location information: approximate location (e.g. city or region) derived from your business address, used to show relevant local listings and shipping estimates. We do not collect precise GPS location unless you separately grant that permission for a specific feature.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and verify dealer status
- To operate marketplace features: listings, search, quote requests, and order management
- To process payments and in-app purchases
- To send transactional notifications (order updates, quote responses, account alerts)
- To provide customer support
- To detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations, and to keep the marketplace verified and trustworthy
- To analyze usage and improve app performance and features
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
4. In-app purchases & payments
MediXprt offers in-app purchases, including premium or featured seller placements and subscription tiers for verified dealers. All in-app purchases made on iOS are processed by Apple through your Apple ID account, and are subject to Apple's own privacy and payment terms. Order payments between buyers and sellers are processed through licensed third-party payment gateways. MediXprt receives confirmation of payment status but does not store your full payment card details.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Between buyers and sellers: to facilitate a quote request or order, relevant business contact and listing details are shared between the buyer and the seller involved in that transaction.
- Service providers: with payment processors, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, and customer support tools that help us operate the app, under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a materially similar one.
6. Data retention
We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described in Section 7.
7. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews, to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
- You can access and update most account information directly within the app.
- You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- You can request that we delete your account and associated personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- You can opt out of non-essential push notifications and marketing communications from within app settings.

9. Children's privacy
MediXprt is a business-to-business and business-to-consumer marketplace intended for verified dealers, distributors, and adult buyers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
10. International users
MediXprt is operated from India and may serve users in other regions. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in India or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app.
